 Original: [link] I got the idea for this when I saw one of the Star Wars trailers. It was the short one that stated out with the sound of Darth V breathing through a mask then someone saying something like “I need a new apprentice” and “You will fulfill your destiny”. I thought, “a villain that wants an apprentice and says ‘You will fulfill your destiny’ just like Slade from the Birthmark episode…..I have a comic to make”. Even though I know Darth Mall (or whatever the hell his name is) was the one who said those things, he’s not an as popular character as Darth V. If I was comparing him to the Slade from the comic book version I’d have even more to work with. If I had known I was going to have another idea for a Robin and Slade (sort of) comic that would have only worked for Robin, I would of made the other one about him be Raven instead since any character could have been used for the other one. Since the new Star Wars movie is out and all the rave now, I thought the nerds…uhh, I mean FANS of the series might like this. |
